I come from Lamu County. I came to this school after my mother met with the Director (Stephen Thethe) and expressed her inability to pay for my studies. My life is covered with so many difficulties. My background is poor; even to provide for daily needs is a major problem. But I have kept strong in my studies because of the encouragement my friends and my pastor have given me. They remind me to not give up, work hard, and put God first in everything. I like to encourage young students in the same way. It is important to remember to not give up, even during difficulties and to keep God first in everything they want to do in their lives.
When I graduate, I want to find a job that will allow me to take care of orphans. I want to make sure they feel good about themselves. Orphans deserve to live good lives, just like the children with two parents. I like to recite poems in my free time. My favorite memories come from class 6. My family struggles finding food for every day. My name is Masha Justine Wanje, and I will endure.
